Prithiveeraj Joins Allu Arjun and Atlee for Raaka, Calls It a Dream Project

Babloo Prithiveeraj has officially confirmed his involvement in the upcoming film Raaka, starring Allu Arjun and directed by Atlee. Known for his impactful role in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, Prithiveeraj revealed in a recent Telugu interview that he will be seen in a prominent role with a unique look in Raaka. The actor expressed his enthusiasm about working alongside Allu Arjun, describing the experience as a dream come true.

Prithiveeraj also highlighted the film’s international scale, mentioning that a Hollywood crew is part of the project. However, he refrained from sharing further details about his character or the storyline, citing a confidentiality agreement with the makers. While the actor’s participation is now confirmed, both Sun Pictures and director Atlee have yet to make an official announcement regarding the supporting cast.

Raaka features Deepika Padukone as the female lead, with reports suggesting that Rashmika Mandanna and Mrunal Thakur may also be part of the ensemble. Sai Abhyankkar is composing the music for the film. The project has generated considerable online discussion, especially after reports surfaced that it could release on December 31, 2027, though this date remains unconfirmed by the producers.

Earlier this year, Raaka was described as an action entertainer with pan-Indian appeal and an international story, according to writer Ratna Kumar. The film’s production has been under tight security, with few details about its genre or plot being made public. Prithiveeraj’s confirmation adds to the anticipation surrounding this high-profile collaboration.
