Prithviraj Sukumaran’s latest film 'Nobody' is all set to hit theatres on July 9th, but the buzz in Telugu states remains surprisingly muted despite his rising popularity from 'Varanasi.'
The actor, who is currently juggling several projects and earned significant attention for his key role in SS Rajamouli’s much-awaited 'Varanasi,' has not heavily promoted 'Nobody' in Telugu markets. Social media circles and industry insiders have pointed out that Prithviraj, known for his strategic choices as both an actor and director, could have leveraged the massive excitement around 'Varanasi' to boost 'Nobody.'
Directed by Nissam Basheer and starring Prithviraj alongside Parvathy Thiruvothu, 'Nobody' is releasing in Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu. However, the trailer and related promotions have not been strongly pushed in Telugu regions. As a result, most Telugu audiences seem unaware of its release. This move has surprised Tollywood circles, especially with the film going up against Akhil’s 'Lenin,' which is releasing just a day later on July 10th.
As 'Nobody' arrives in a crowded box office window, all eyes are now on how the film will fare, particularly in the Telugu states, and whether Prithviraj’s star power can draw audiences despite the subdued lead-up.
