Raj Nidimoru, known for his kinetic collaborations with Krishna D.K. in Bollywood, recently revealed why he and DK often weave Megastar Chiranjeevi references into their Hindi films and series such as 'Guns & Gulaabs' and 'Go Goa Gone'. After a string of acclaimed projects, the duo's creative choices have been the subject of much fan curiosity.

Hailing from Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh, Raj Nidimoru has brought a unique Telugu flair to the Hindi entertainment landscape. In a recent interview, Raj shared, "We used Chiranjeevi garu’s songs in Guns & Gulaabs and Go Goa Gone. In the former, we had a Telugu character named Athmaram who runs a hotel in North India. When we got the opportunity to work on shows, we decided that characters should speak their own languages instead of sticking only to Hindi." This inclusive approach has allowed their productions to feature actors from all over India, celebrating linguistic and cultural diversity.

The creative team, known for their work on shows like 'The Family Man 3', has been lauded for letting characters embrace their native tongues onscreen. Raj added, "We wanted to cast actors from across India and allow them to speak their native languages. It opened up the platform for us to cast talent from all parts of the country. In The Family Man 3, we included the Cinema Bandi connection. That’s our tribute to our mother tongue."

With each new project, Raj & DK continue to spotlight their Telugu heritage while engaging pan-Indian audiences. Fans can look forward to more cultural nods and regional flavours in their upcoming ventures.
