Director Nelson Dilipkumar, who steered the first Jailer to box office success, is currently overseeing post-production for the sequel. Sun Pictures, known for backing some of the biggest Kollywood blockbusters, is producing the film. The cast features Vidya Balan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Mirnaa, Ramya Krishnan, and Mithun Chakraborty in significant roles. Adding further star power, Mohanlal, Hrithik Roshan, Shiva Rajkumar, and Vijay Sethupathi will appear in special cameo roles.
Fans have been actively requesting composer Anirudh Ravichander to release the film’s energetic elevation tracks early, hoping to amplify the pre-release excitement. Responding to this buzz, the makers have announced that the full music album will be launched at a special event on September 30. According to reports, if the event garners strong attention, it could further boost anticipation for the film’s release.
Earlier this year, it was reported that shooting for Jailer 2 had wrapped up, with the film’s ensemble cast drawing significant attention. As the Dussehra release approaches, all eyes are now on the upcoming music launch, which is expected to set the stage for Rajinikanth’s next big screen outing.
