Rajinikanth’s much-awaited film Thalaivar 173 is making headlines for all the wrong reasons as mounting directorial changes leave fans increasingly frustrated. The star project, produced by Kamal Haasan under Raaj Kamal Films, was announced to great excitement, promising the rare combination of two cinema legends.
The project originally announced C. Sundar as director, but his departure for personal reasons was the first sign of trouble. He was swiftly replaced by Cibi Chakravarthi, known for his work on Siva Karthikeyan’s 'Don', restoring some optimism. However, fresh reports now suggest that Cibi Chakravarthi too has exited, with speculation pointing towards Ashwath Marimuthu of 'Dragon' fame as the next director in line.
These repeated changes have not gone unnoticed by the film’s ardent followers. Social media is buzzing with concern, with many questioning the stability of the production. As per sources, 'the frequent changing of the directors for the project is worrying fans making them wonder about the inside happenings.'
