Rakesh Varre’s Maya Lady Teaser Unveils Twisted Romance Ahead of October Release

Rakesh Varre takes center stage in the newly released teaser for Maya Lady, a Telugu film set to hit screens in October 2026. Known for his emotionally charged performances, Varre’s latest project promises a departure from routine romantic dramas, blending humor, romance, and psychological obsession into a single narrative.

The teaser opens with Varre’s character, a man searching for his perfect partner, enduring playful ridicule from those around him. The story’s tone shifts dramatically after he meets a woman, played by Madhumita Sarcar, whose affection quickly spirals into possessiveness and obsession. Sarcar’s intense portrayal stands out, while Satya’s comic timing adds levity to the otherwise dark premise. The teaser’s psychological edge draws comparisons to classic Hollywood obsession thrillers, setting it apart from typical Telugu love stories.

Prasankar, who both writes and directs Maya Lady, crafts a script that balances entertainment with psychological depth. The background score by Vishal Chandrasekhar heightens the film’s tension, and his songs have already become chartbusters, adding to the anticipation. The film is produced by Rakesh Varre under the Crazy Ants Productions banner and presented by V D Jagan Mohan Rao, with high production values evident throughout the teaser.

Strong early promotions and the teaser’s unique tone have generated positive buzz on social media, with many viewers intrigued by the film’s blend of romance and madness. Maya Lady is scheduled for release in October 2026, aiming to offer Telugu audiences a fresh take on love and obsession.
