Ram Charan brings his upcoming film Peddi to the spotlight with a heartfelt anecdote involving Prime Minister Narendra Modi. At a packed press meet in Delhi, Charan spoke about how his conversation with the Prime Minister inspired and reinforced the theme of his new film.

Coming off the success of his recent ventures, Ram Charan continues to choose projects that spark conversation. This time, he's collaborating with director Buchi Babu Sana, known for his knack for stories rooted in rural transformation. Peddi, set against the backdrop of a tribal region, is all about empowerment and the ripple effect of individual impact.

During the event, Charan recalled, "When I met Modi sir in Delhi, he asked me what Peddi is about. I told him it’s about Viksit Bharat, i.e., empowerment of villages." He went on to share the Prime Minister's story about a West Bengal village where one football player's success inspired dozens more to pursue the sport, echoing Peddi’s core message that 'even one person can make a huge difference.' The film also stars Janhvi Kapoor, with veterans like Shiva Rajkumar, Divyenndu Sharma, Jagapathi Babu, and Boman Irani in pivotal roles. Music maestro AR Rahman is composing the score, promising a vibrant soundscape.

With Peddi set for a grand release on June 4, 2026, in several Indian languages, anticipation is running high. Fans are eager to see how this powerful narrative unfolds on the big screen.
