Ram Charan’s much-awaited film Peddi has taken the nation by storm following a spectacular event in Bhopal, where the star, joined by Janhvi Kapoor, AR Rahman, and Ravi Kishan, shared emotional and electrifying moments that have set social media abuzz.
The momentum behind Peddi is remarkable, especially for director Buchi Babu Sana, who is coming off the success of Uppena. The film, produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru, is set for a worldwide theatrical release on June 4, 2026, and has already drawn comparisons to iconic dramas like 3 Idiots and Dangal for its emotional and inspirational narrative.
At the grand 'Peddi Ki Aawaz' event, lead actress Janhvi Kapoor candidly recalled her initial nervousness with the Telugu language, crediting Ram Charan for his calm, Buddha-like support. In a playful tribute, she called Charan’s character her favorite cricketer, exclaiming, "Nobody can hit a sixer like Ram Charan in Peddi." Music maestro A.R. Rahman was effusive in his praise, stating Charan’s dedication and dance "captivates us in Peddi, throughout," and teasing the film’s hidden musical gems. Rahman’s surprise live performance of the theme song "Massa Massa Massaaa" left fans thrilled, though the digital release date remains under wraps.
The emotional peak came with Ravi Kishan’s stirring speech, likening Peddi to a movement and predicting, "National Awards and many more recognitions are coming for this movie." Ram Charan himself declared, "Peddi will be the No. 1 film in my film library," a statement that has since gone viral, heightening audience anticipation. The event’s massive turnout—over a lakh strong underscored the pan-Indian appeal of the project.
With a star-studded cast including Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyendu Sharma, and Boman Irani, and an emotionally charged story, all eyes are now on Peddi’s June 2026 release. Fans can expect more musical reveals and trailers as the release date draws near.
