Ram Charan’s much-awaited sports action drama Peddi is all set for a grand worldwide release on June 4, creating immense anticipation among fans. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film marks an ambitious project for both the actor and filmmaker, coming after a series of acclaimed ventures.

During a recent press interaction, director Buchi Babu shared that Ram Charan underwent a demanding physical transformation to portray a rustic wrestler. The actor’s commitment was evident when he suffered a notable eye injury while shooting an intense action sequence—a moment that left the crew visibly shaken. However, Megastar Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan’s father, reacted with characteristic composure, reportedly laughing and requesting to see the on-set footage.

The emotional intensity of Ram Charan’s performance has already struck a chord with his family. Buchi Babu revealed that Chiranjeevi’s wife, Surekha, became extremely emotional after watching a particularly moving scene. “She was so touched by the raw performance that she became extremely emotional after watching it,” the director said.

With music by AR Rahman and high expectations riding on its release, Peddi promises to showcase Ram Charan in a transformative avatar. Fans can look forward to an impactful cinematic experience when the film hits screens this week.
