Ram Charan’s much-awaited rural sports drama Peddi is all set to enter the final phase before its grand pan-Indian release on June 4, 2026. The film, directed by National Award-winner Buchi Babu Sana, has generated immense buzz as it marks Ram Charan’s return after his acclaimed stint in similar genre hits.
With the post-production wrapping up smoothly, the makers have officially locked the film’s final edit, a process handled by National Award-winning editor Navin Nooli. As per sources, Peddi’s team is now gearing up for censorship, and fans are eagerly anticipating the start of a high-voltage promotional campaign, including songs, the trailer, and event announcements.
Adding to the anticipation, a spectacular pre-release event is reportedly being planned for June 2, 2026, at LB Stadium in Hyderabad. The event is set to feature a massive village-themed set inspired by the film’s sports backdrop, promising a visual treat for fans. Early reports suggest the trailer may drop on May 16, though an official confirmation is awaited. The production house Vriddhi Cinemas is backing this project, with music composed by the legendary A. R. Rahman.
The film’s star-studded cast includes Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Divyenndu Sharma, Boman Irani, and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles. Notably, Peddi’s arrival comes at a time when the Telugu film industry is yearning for a major hit, with fans drawing parallels to the box office phenomenon Rangasthalam. Social media chatter reflects the hope that Peddi will rejuvenate Telugu cinema, especially as theatres have faced a drought of notable releases recently.
With worldwide premiere shows set to begin from June 3, all eyes are now on Peddi to deliver a powerful cinematic experience and potentially spark a new wave at the box office.
