Ram Charan's upcoming film Peddi has become the center of intense speculation regarding its special item song. The rural sports drama, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, has kept fans guessing about the actress who will share the screen with Ram Charan in this highly anticipated dance number.

Following the film’s postponement from its initial April 30th release, the team has been focused on post-production, including patchwork and finalizing the special song. The film stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead and features music composed by AR Rahman, while the supporting cast includes renowned actors Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyyendu Sharma, and Boman Irani.

Initially, rumors suggested actresses like Samyukta Menon, Mrunal Thakur, and Manasa Varanasi might perform the item song. However, recent reports indicate that Shruti Haasan has given her nod to feature alongside Ram Charan. The shooting for this song is slated to begin in Hyderabad, reportedly in late April or May, easing any deadline pressures as the release is planned for June.
