Ram Charan’s much-awaited film Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, is all set to hit theatres on June 4, and excitement is running high among fans. Known for his dynamic performances, Ram Charan takes on a compelling role that will see his character evolve over a transformative ten-year period.
Backed by a powerful script, Peddi promises to be more than just a sports drama. The movie charts the journey of Ram Charan’s character from a spirited youngster to a mature and formidable presence, a change that is already sparking keen interest across social media and trade circles. Janhvi Kapoor, continuing her rise in South cinema, stars as the female lead, adding further star power to the project.
The production team, led by acclaimed designer Avinash Kolla, faced unique challenges, particularly in ensuring Peddi stood apart from previous wrestling films like Dangal. "My main agenda was that the movie shouldn’t feel monotonous. Audiences shouldn’t feel like they have already seen similar set work before. We experimented a bit and gave a special treatment to Peddi," Avinash Kolla shared in a recent interview. He also praised the script as the finest he’s encountered in his career and expressed his gratitude for being part of such a project.
With the release just weeks away, anticipation continues to build for Peddi’s grand theatrical debut. Fans can look forward to an emotional, visually distinct sports saga when it arrives this June.
