Ram Charan’s much-awaited film Peddi is making headlines even before its release, with the sports drama gearing up for a June 4th arrival in cinemas worldwide. Coming off the success of his recent ventures, Ram Charan once again teams up with director Buchi Babu Sana for this film, which is already generating massive anticipation among fans.
The film’s advance bookings have taken off spectacularly, especially in North America where Peddi smashed the premiere sales record by grossing over $100K, overtaking Pawan Kalyan’s ‘OG’ record of $82K in just 24 hours. This achievement highlights the resounding buzz around the project, and industry watchers expect further milestones to be set before release.
With Janhvi Kapoor starring as the female lead and stalwarts like Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu Sharma, and Boman Irani onboard, the film promises a star-studded experience. The music, crafted by the legendary AR Rahman, adds another layer of allure. Produced by Vriddhi Cinemas, Peddi is aiming not just for box office glory in Telugu-speaking regions but also in the Hindi belt.
As part of a strategic push, the makers are reportedly planning to unveil the theatrical trailer in North India, with potential dates around May 16 or 17. With post-production in full swing, fans can expect more updates and high-voltage promotions leading up to the release.
