Ram Charan’s upcoming film Peddi recently became the center of a release date controversy when producer SKN announced June 26 as the new release date during the Chennai Love Story song launch event. Ram Charan, known for his consistent box office successes, has fans eagerly awaiting Peddi’s arrival. SKN’s revelation, however, sparked confusion and disappointment as it appeared to confirm a postponement without an official statement from Peddi’s makers.
SKN later issued a clarifying video explaining the misunderstanding. He revealed that Sai Razesh, the writer and co-producer of Chennai Love Story, had cautioned him against announcing Peddi’s release date prematurely. “I mistook the audience’s cheer as an official announcement,” SKN admitted, apologizing for the mix-up and emphasizing that any release changes should only come from Peddi’s production house.
While fans speculated about a June 25 or 26 release, SKN assured that Peddi would be a blockbuster regardless of timing, and Chennai Love Story will seek a non-conflicting release window. The industry now awaits a formal declaration from Peddi’s team to settle the release date once and for all.
