Ram Charan’s upcoming film Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, is creating waves even before its release. Known for his hit Uppena, Buchi Babu Sana has crafted Peddi with Ram Charan in mind, despite rumors suggesting the project was initially meant for other stars. The film, featuring Janhvi Kapoor alongside veterans Shiva Rajkumar and Jagapathi Babu, has generated significant buzz for its unique storyline and star cast.
Interestingly, the story of Peddi was initially presented to prominent actors like NTR, Allu Arjun, and Suriya. However, due to their busy schedules and commitments to pan-India projects, they couldn't take it forward. Ram Charan, introduced to the script through his mentor Sukumar, embraced the story enthusiastically and gave it a green signal, proving the film is indeed crafted to suit his persona.
Despite the excitement, Peddi’s release was postponed from its original April 30, 2026 date due to post-production delays. Nevertheless, the collaboration between Ram Charan and Buchi Babu Sana remains strong. Their recent Instagram exchange confirmed plans for another project after Ram Charan completes his next film with Sukumar, much to fans' delight.
With Ram Charan’s recent Esquire India cover further elevating his global stature, expectations for Peddi and their forthcoming ventures are sky-high. Fans eagerly await the film’s new release date and the next chapter in this promising actor-director partnership.
