Ram Charan’s Peddi Secures Satellite Deal, Setting It Apart
Ram Charan’s much-hyped film Peddi has clinched a major victory even before release, with Zee Telugu acquiring its satellite rights for a record price. This move puts Peddi ahead of certain other ₹500 crore grossers that are reportedly still searching for a television partner, highlighting the film’s remarkable pre-release clout.
Directed by the acclaimed Buchi Babu Sana, whose previous work has been celebrated for its storytelling, Peddi is all set for a grand theatrical debut on June 4, 2026. The film’s ensemble includes Janhvi Kapoor alongside Charan, with seasoned actors like Shiva Rajkumar, Boman Irani, Jagapathi Babu, Satya, and Divyenndu Sharma adding further gravitas. Backed by Vriddhi Cinemas and featuring a musical score by AR Rahman, the project has generated tremendous anticipation, especially with its trailer launch just around the corner.
The production team has expressed strong confidence in the film’s commercial prospects, with every new promotional event fanning the already sky-high buzz among fans. Social media is abuzz with excitement, as fans eagerly await the unveiling of the trailer to catch a glimpse of Charan and Buchi Babu Sana’s ambitious vision.
With Netflix already having bagged the OTT rights, all eyes now turn to the trailer launch and the eventual box office showdown. Peddi is poised to raise the bar for star-led rural sports dramas in Tollywood.
