Ram Charan's next big project, currently referred to as RC17, has finalized its leading lady. After the success of his recent film Peddi and a brief break for surgery and recovery, Ram Charan is gearing up to collaborate once again with director Sukumar. The film's grand launch is scheduled for the Dasara festival, with shooting set to begin in December.

Sara Arjun, who earned recognition for her performance in Dhurandhar, has been confirmed as the female lead in RC17. According to reports, Sara had not signed any new projects after Dhurandhar, choosing her next role carefully. She was impressed by the script and agreed to join the cast recently.

The film is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers, a production house known for backing several high-profile Telugu films. While the script has been locked and pre-production is underway, the team is still in the process of finalizing the music composer. Both Anirudh and Shashwat Sachdev are under consideration, and an official announcement is expected soon.

RC17 is slated for release in 2028, giving the team ample time for a detailed production schedule. The combination of Ram Charan and Sukumar has already generated considerable attention, especially after their previous successful collaboration on Rangasthalam. With Sara Arjun joining the cast, expectations around the film have grown, and fans are keenly watching for further updates as the project moves forward.
