Ranbir Kapoor to Begin Brahmastra 2 Shoot Right After Ramayana 2 Wrap

Ranbir Kapoor, currently immersed in the production of the epic film Ramayana, is gearing up for a packed schedule in the coming years. Ramayana, which features Kapoor in a leading role, is slated for a Diwali release, with its sequel expected to arrive next year. According to a report from Pinkvilla, once Kapoor completes work on Ramayana 2, he will immediately transition to Brahmastra 2.

Director Ayan Mukerji is actively engaged in scripting and pre-production for Brahmastra 2, with filming reportedly scheduled to commence in April 2027. The sequel will see Ranbir Kapoor taking on dual roles as both Dev and Shiva, while Alia Bhatt is set to return as Isha. The team is also in discussions with Deepika Padukone for the pivotal character of Amurta, though her casting has not been officially confirmed.

Brahmastra 2 is being closely watched by fans, especially after the success of the first installment. The anticipation has only grown with the news of Kapoor's dual roles and the potential addition of Padukone to the cast.
