Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi Shine in Ramayana: ‘Jai Jai Ram’ Song Unveiled

Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi, who lead the cast of the upcoming Bollywood epic 'Ramayana', are back in the spotlight as the film’s first single, “Jai Jai Ram”, is released. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, whose recent works have consistently drawn attention for their scale and storytelling, the film is produced by Namit Malhotra in collaboration with Yash, who also takes on the role of Ravana.

On the occasion of Vinayaka Chavithi, the makers launched the motion poster and the lyrical video for “Jai Jai Ram”. The song is composed by A.R. Rahman and features the vocals of Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal, with lyrics penned by Dr. Kumar Vishwas. The track is described as a soothing and soulful number that captures the essence of Ram and Sita, and the video’s visual presentation has also been praised for its craftsmanship. Music supervision was handled by A.R. Ameen and Hiral Viradia.

The unveiling of “Jai Jai Ram” builds on the buzz generated by the film’s earlier promotional content, including the trailer that was released in July and showcased a visually rich adaptation of the epic. The film is set for a grand release on November 6, 2026, across multiple languages, and also features Hans Zimmer’s involvement in the music department.

Sai Pallavi had earlier expressed her gratitude for portraying Sita, highlighting the significance of her role in this ambitious retelling. As the release date approaches, the production team is expected to ramp up promotions, with more content likely to be revealed soon.
