Rashmika Mandanna is set to portray the iconic Carnatic vocalist MS Subbulakshmi in an upcoming biopic directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri, known for his acclaimed work on 'Jersey'. The regular shooting is planned to commence in October, and the makers are targeting a summer 2027 release. Rashmika Mandanna, who has been busy with multiple projects, is currently wrapping up her work on Vijay Deverakonda’s 'Ranabaali', which is slated for theatrical release on September 16.
