Rashmika Mandanna, known for her dynamic roles, is gearing up for the release of her period action drama 'Mysaa', directed by Rawindra Pulle. The film, which explores the story of a Gond tribe, is set to hit theatres on November 27, 2026. Rashmika's intense transformation in the recently released teaser has already caught the attention of audiences, with her fierce portrayal standing out.

Director Rawindra Pulle, who previously worked as the first assistant director and additional dialogue writer on 'Sita Ramam', shared how that collaboration became pivotal in casting Rashmika for 'Mysaa'. In an interview with Variety India, Pulle said, “We were both working together in Sita Ramam. I was the first AD on set. I was also the additional dialogue writer and the second-unit director for some sequences. I shot some sequences of hers, and we became very friendly. I love her eyes, and in one of the sequences, I saw the intense anger depicted in her eyes, and I knew I had found my Mysaa.”

He further revealed, “That day, I told her that she would become my heroine someday. It was the power of manifestation. Later, when I narrated the script to her, she loved it. In fact, she even trained in Italy and Thailand for some action sequences involving postures and kicking. She worked really hard and gave it her 1000 per cent. She never said no to me.”

Earlier this year, it was reported that Rashmika was filming for 'Mysaa', taking on a groundbreaking role as a fierce Gond tribal woman. The film's teaser has generated positive buzz, with fans eager to see Rashmika in this new avatar. 'Mysaa' is positioned as a significant project in Rashmika's career, with her dedication and the director's vision coming together after their experience on 'Sita Ramam'.
