Ravi Teja, known for his energetic performances in Telugu cinema, placed his full confidence behind his film Irumudi, which released on November 21, 2023. The actor, coming off a series of collaborations with Mythri Movie Makers, described Irumudi as an emotional and memorable theatrical experience, stating, "Irumudi is going to be a blockbuster for sure. I’m very certain that this movie will offer an emotional ride."

Director Shiva Nirvana, who helmed the project, shared insights into his creative process at the film’s grand pre-release event. He explained that the story was initially centered on the bond between a middle-class father and his daughter, with the Ayyappa pilgrimage backdrop added later to deepen the narrative. Shiva Nirvana emphasized the film's transformation into an intense thriller, noting, "Please don’t think this is a light-hearted movie. It is very intense. The final 40 minutes will completely immerse you in a human drama."

Ravi Teja highlighted that Irumudi explores the stories of two fathers, not just one, and praised his co-stars.
