Ravi Teja, known as Mass Maharaj in Telugu cinema, has made headlines following the release of his film Irumudi. He was granted the Nizam theatrical rights for the film and reportedly earned substantial profits from its success. According to industry sources, Ravi Teja is now demanding a high fixed remuneration for his upcoming films, moving away from the profit-sharing agreements he had promised. This sudden change has resulted in Dil Raju shelving his planned project with the star. Meanwhile, Laxman, who is producing a film directed by Vivek Athreya with Ravi Teja in the lead, is reportedly facing budget concerns. The film's production costs are already over ₹50 crores, excluding Ravi Teja's new remuneration demand, which could put additional financial pressure on the project.

Earlier this year, reports highlighted Ravi Teja's transition to profit-sharing after a series of flops, but the success of Irumudi appears to have prompted a decisive U-turn.
