Sandeep Vanga has come out strongly in support of the blockbuster film Dhurandhar: The Revenge, which stars Ranveer Singh and is directed by Aditya Dhar. Known for his bold storytelling style in films like Kabir Singh and Animal, Vanga recently joined superstar Prabhas for a special screening of Dhurandhar 2 at Allu Cinemas in Kokapet. Following the viewing, he took to social media to deliver a fervent defense of the film amid criticism branding it as propaganda.

Despite Dhurandhar The Revenge shattering box office records and gaining a massive fan following, some sections of the industry and media labeled it negatively. Vanga expressed his dismay at this reaction, pointing out the hypocrisy of critics who themselves have built careers on similar narratives. He wrote, “Writers & actors built careers on propaganda, and the industry stayed quiet like cats. Now the same clan mock Dhurandhar. You don’t get to call yourself liberal if your first instinct is to Mock. Don’t know when truth started getting labeled as propaganda…… Strange times.”

His passionate message urged filmmakers and audiences alike to embrace truth and bold storytelling. Praising the film as “outstanding,” he warned that the dismissive attitude towards Dhurandhar’s perspective would not be tolerated. This response from Vanga adds another layer of intrigue to the film’s cultural impact and highlights the ongoing debates around cinema and ideology.

With Dhurandhar 2 continuing to dominate theaters and spark conversations, fans eagerly await what director Aditya Dhar and lead actor Ranveer Singh have lined up next. Meanwhile, Sandeep Vanga’s vocal support reinforces the film’s stature as a significant cinematic event in 2026.
