Satya Dev’s much-anticipated psychological thriller Rao Bahadur is officially scheduled to hit theatres worldwide on June 5. The film marks another bold venture for director Venkatesh Maha, known for his layered storytelling and gripping narratives that resonate with audiences seeking depth and style.

Produced under the banner of superstar Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar’s GMB Entertainment, alongside A+S Movies and SriChakraas Entertainments, Rao Bahadur has been creating a strong buzz with its intriguing promotional material. The recently unveiled date poster features Satya Dev in an imposing aristocratic look, dressed in rich, traditional hues with an enigmatic insect perched on his turban a detail fueling curiosity and speculation among fans.

The film’s first single, “O Sundari,” has already become a chartbuster, celebrated for its vintage melody and evocative visuals that transport viewers to a bygone era. Cinematographer Kartik Parmar’s textured visuals, combined with Smaran Sai’s evocative score and Rohan Singh’s authentic production design, beautifully capture the decaying grandeur of the film’s aristocratic setting. Director Venkatesh Maha, who also handled writing and editing, weaves a tale steeped in legacy, mystery, and psychological intrigue, reflected in the cryptic tagline “Doubt is a Demon.”

With its June 5 release strategically placed before the academic year begins, Rao Bahadur is poised to command attention at the box office. Fans of cerebral thrillers can look forward to an immersive cinematic journey that blends cultural roots with universal emotional themes.
