Sobhita Dhulipala Earns High Praise from Pa. Ranjith for Vettuvam Action

Sobhita Dhulipala, known for her versatile roles, is drawing attention for her performance in Pa. Ranjith’s upcoming film Vettuvam. The director, who has a reputation for crafting intense, character-driven stories, spoke highly of Sobhita’s commitment to her physically demanding role. Ranjith described her as a "brilliant actor" and highlighted that she completed all her action sequences herself, without the use of a stunt double. According to Ranjith, "The dupe or the stunt doubles would only be there for the camera rehearsals, but ultimately, she would come and perform it, because we wanted that authenticity, and she gave it her 100%."

Sobhita herself reflected on the challenges of the project, noting that the choreography required a level of skill that usually takes years to master. She shared, "some of the things we are doing here in this film, it takes 15 years or 20 years of practice to achieve that kind of choreography, but every single shoot day we did the stunts with a lot of spirit and team work." This collaboration with Ranjith marks a new chapter in her career, as she continues to seek out roles that push her boundaries.
