Sumanth Prabhas, who recently gained attention for his role in Romanchakam, is stepping into the lead for the upcoming Telugu film Babloo XXL. The film is directed by Sri Saailu Kaampati, whose previous work Raju Weds Rambai was well received. Babloo XXL’s first look is scheduled to be unveiled on Dussehra, October 24, 2026, adding a festive touch to its promotions.

The first look poster features Sumanth Prabhas in a vibrant floral shirt, sporting a trendy hairstyle and flashing a cheerful victory sign. The backdrop highlights iconic landmarks from Mancherial, such as its clock tower, stone bridge, and temple structures, grounding the film in a recognizable Telangana setting. Gahazy SK stars opposite Sumanth Prabhas, while Radhika Sarathkumar, Jayalalitha, and Sivaji Raja take on significant supporting roles. The film’s technical crew includes Wajid Baig as cinematographer, Vijay Bhulganin composing the music, Naresh Adupa handling editing, and Pawan Kalyan Yellapu as art director. Production is underway under the banner of Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, with Puskur Ram Mohan Rao and Bharat N Narang producing.
