Sumanth Prabhas’s Godari Gattipaina readies for grand May 8 release

Sumanth Prabhas leads the cast in the upcoming rural love and family drama Godari Gattipaina, which is set for a grand worldwide release on May 8, with special premieres scheduled for the evening before. The film, helmed by director Subhash Chandra and produced by Abhinav, brings together a talented ensemble including Nidhi Pradeep, Jagapathi Babu, and Laila.

Known for his commitment to authenticity, Sumanth Prabhas reportedly put in significant effort to master the Godavari dialect, enhancing the film’s regional flavour. The production team, with top distributors like Suresh Babu and Sunil Narang backing the project, is confident in offering audiences an immersive theatrical experience. Producer Abhinav revealed that after considering multiple scripts, he selected this narrative for its universal emotional resonance. “I wanted to make a film with emotions that connect to everyone universally, and this story perfectly fell into place,” he shared.

Director Subhash Chandra approached the filmmaking process with meticulous planning, storyboarding every scene to ensure clarity and emotional impact. Abhinav praised his vision, stating, “He showed every detail related to the shooting, including the frames, on paper. The entire film shoot happened flawlessly according to a strict plan.” Music by Vamshi is expected to elevate the film’s emotional core, blending comedy, drama, and sentiment in a novel way.
