Sundeep Kishan’s upcoming film Sigma has officially secured a new release date, with the makers announcing that the movie will hit theatres worldwide on October 2, 2026. This update comes after the film, which was initially planned for a July 31, 2026 release, was postponed. The announcement was accompanied by a fresh poster, generating renewed excitement among fans awaiting Kishan’s next big-screen appearance.
Following his recent success with Super Subbu, Sundeep Kishan teams up with debut director Jason Sanjay, who is notably the son of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actor Vijay. Sigma marks Jason Sanjay’s first directorial venture, and the project has drawn attention for this high-profile launch. The film is being produced by Lyca Productions, a banner known for backing major bilingual projects.
Sigma features Faria Abdullah as the female lead, with Raju Sundaram, Sampath Raj, and Shiv Panditt playing important roles. Music for the film is composed by Thaman, adding further anticipation for the soundtrack among audiences in both Telugu and Tamil markets. The film is being made as a bilingual, aiming to appeal to fans across South India.
The new release date aligns with a festive season window, which is often seen as a strategic move for big releases. With the latest poster and official confirmation, Sigma’s team has set the stage for a wide theatrical rollout in October.
