Sundeep Kishan is gearing up for the release of his next film, Sigma, which features him alongside Faria Abdullah and introduces Jason Sanjay, son of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay, as a director. The film, produced by Lyca Productions and distributed in Telugu states by Mythri Distribution, is scheduled to hit theatres on October 2, 2026.

At a recent press event launching the film's promotional campaign, Jason Sanjay described Sigma as "a very fun film with an emotional core about a man fighting for his identity." He emphasized that the screenplay is character-driven and relatable, aiming for universal appeal rather than being confined to a single language or region.

Sundeep Kishan expressed his enthusiasm for the project, calling it "a big, original film" in his career. He highlighted Jason Sanjay's passion for Telugu cinema, noting that the director approached the film with the sensibilities of a Telugu filmmaker despite his Tamil background. Kishan also praised the efficient production, revealing that the film was completed in just 63 days, ahead of the planned 70-day schedule.

The actor believes Sigma offers a golden opportunity for performers and will resonate with audiences of all ages. He mentioned that the team is intentionally keeping plot details under wraps, encouraging viewers to experience the film's heist drama and fun elements firsthand in theatres.

Earlier this year, Sigma's release date was shifted from July 31 to October 2, as reported in August. With the promotional campaign now underway, anticipation is building for Jason Sanjay's directorial debut and Sundeep Kishan's next big screen outing.
