Suriya Unveils Playful Cop Avatar in 'Scene' Title Teaser Ahead of Diwali

Suriya steps into a refreshingly light-hearted police role in the newly released title teaser for his upcoming film 'Scene', directed by Jithu Madhavan of 'Aavesham' fame. After delivering consecutive blockbusters with 'Karuppu' and 'Vishwanth and Sons' earlier this year, Suriya is set to complete a hat-trick with this project.

The teaser introduces Suriya in a relaxed look—sporting shorts and a T-shirt—as he confidently enters a jail, facing a crowd of criminals. His character's declaration about arresting 900 people in his career and being ready to face any challenge for justice stands out as a highlight. The teaser also showcases Suriya's flair for comedy, with witty one-liners and expressive reactions that add a unique flavor to his cop persona. According to the makers, Suriya "opened up a lot to play this sort of a cop character," bringing a new energy to the role.

Joining Suriya are Nazriya Nazim and Naslen in significant roles, promising a strong ensemble cast. The film's background score, composed by Sushin Shyam, has been praised for complementing the teaser's vibrant tone. 'Scene' is produced by Suriya and Jyothika under Zhagaram Studios and 2D Entertainment, with the team aiming for a grand Diwali release on 6th November 2026 across multiple languages.

Earlier this year, Suriya's collaboration with Jithu Madhavan generated notable curiosity among fans, and the combination of a talented cast and a festive release window positions 'Scene' as a top entertainer to watch for this Diwali.
