Suriya Set for a Busy 2026 With Potential Diwali Release
Suriya, who recently delivered a career-best performance in Kanguva with worldwide collections surpassing ₹300 crore, is gearing up for an eventful 2026. The Kollywood star is already set to appear in Viswanath & Sons, a family drama directed by Venky Atluri, scheduled for release in August.
Adding to the excitement, industry sources indicate that Suriya could have a third release this year. The yet-to-be-titled film, helmed by Aavesham director Jithu Madhavan, has reportedly completed its shoot. According to the latest updates, the makers are targeting a theatrical release during Diwali 2026, though an official announcement is still awaited.
The film features Nazriya Fahadh in the female lead role, marking her return to Kollywood, while Naslen, known for his work in Premalu, plays a significant part. Music is being composed by Sushin Shyam, promising a fresh soundscape for the project.
