Suriya is all set to treat fans with a double bonanza as his much-awaited film Vishwanath & Sons is reportedly targeting a July 24, 2026 release, coming hot on the heels of his May release, Karuppu. This marks a rare occasion for the star, as audiences will see two major Suriya films in less than three months.

The buzz around Vishwanath & Sons, directed by Venky Atluri of Sir and Tholi Prema fame, is building rapidly after the recently released teaser. The film casts Suriya as Sanjay Vishwanath, a pistol-shooting champion in his 40s striving for a comeback, while Mamitha Baiju plays Maddy, a rookie shooter who evolves from student to admirer. Social media has been abuzz with praise for Suriya’s intense, mature look, and the story’s emotional depth, which explores second chances and unconventional bonds.

Adding further gravitas, Raveena Tandon returns to Tollywood in a pivotal role, joined by veteran Radikaa Sarathkumar.
