Thiru Veer, gearing up for the release of his rural entertainer Oh..! Sukumari this Friday, has candidly addressed the challenges his recent films have faced at the box office. The actor, who stars alongside Aishwarya Rajesh in this project, reflected on the hurdles encountered by his previous releases.

Discussing his recent film trajectory, Thiru Veer noted that despite positive critical reception for The Great Pre-Wedding Show, the movie did not perform as expected due to limited promotion. "Coming to The Great Pre-Wedding Show, it received very good reviews and appreciation, even from those who are usually very critical. We thought the movie would do well. However, due to the limitations we had, we couldn’t promote the film properly," Thiru Veer shared in a recent interview.

He further explained that financial constraints and a lack of awareness contributed to low audience turnout, and in the case of Papam Pratap, mixed talk affected its reach. Thiru Veer also pointed out the changing dynamics of movie-watching, mentioning, "Lately, watching a film in theatres has become a costly affair. Audiences are showing up only if the talk is good. They have also got used to OTT. Either highly favorable word of mouth or a crowd-favorite actor is needed to pull people to theatres."

With Oh..! Sukumari set for release, all eyes are on how Thiru Veer’s latest venture will fare with audiences. Fans and industry watchers are eager to see if this rural drama can capture the attention of moviegoers and turn the tide for the actor.
