Varun Tej, fresh from his appearance in Korean Kanakaraju, is gearing up for his next big project—a sports drama titled Bhari. The actor, who recently suffered an injury, is expected to commence shooting for Bhari once he has fully recovered. The film will be directed by Yadu Vamsi, known for Committee Kurrollu, and produced by Niharika Konidela.

While Bhari is set to go on floors soon, Varun Tej is actively considering additional scripts. According to sources, Anji, who gained recognition with Aay, has pitched a new story idea to Varun Tej and received an initial go-ahead. Anji is currently working on finalizing the script, which will be narrated to Varun Tej before any official announcement is made.

In parallel, Varun Tej is also in discussions with Balaji, an associate of director Atlee. The shoot for this project is expected to start next year, with Tamil filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj attached as producer. This collaboration would mark a notable cross-industry partnership, as Subbaraj is acclaimed for his work in Tamil cinema.

With Bhari confirmed and two more films in the pipeline, Varun Tej appears to be strategically planning his upcoming slate. He is expected to take up the projects with Anji and Balaji after wrapping up Bhari. Fans are keenly watching these developments, especially as Varun Tej continues to diversify his roles and work with new creative teams.
