Director Venkatesh Maha is making a much-anticipated return to Telugu cinema with the period drama Rao Bahadur, featuring Satya Dev in the lead. After the critical success of C/o Kancharapalem and Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya, all eyes are on Maha's comeback, especially given the excitement surrounding the film’s extravagant visuals, accomplished on a surprisingly modest budget.
Presented by superstar Mahesh Babu and produced by Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy, Anurag, and Sharath, Rao Bahadur is already generating considerable buzz. The team recently unveiled the soulful "O Sundari" song, composed by Smaran Sai and sung by Vijay Yesudas, further raising expectations.
At the song launch, Venkatesh Maha revealed, “For 5 years, I worked non-stop on script for this film... post release the film will really speak for itself and everyone worked for it as an identity and it has 10 times more impact than C/O Kancherapalem.” Lead actor Satya Dev praised Maha’s vision and dedication, stating, “I am proud of Rao Bahadur and it will be a great film in Telugu Cinema for sure.”
Fans are eagerly awaiting the release, with social media abuzz about the film's lavish look and gripping story. With its powerful narrative and impressive production values, Rao Bahadur is set to be a significant moment both for Venkatesh Maha and Telugu cinema. The wait now is for the film to hit screens and prove its mettle.
