Vijay Deverakonda’s eagerly awaited historical action drama, Ranabaali, has successfully wrapped its shooting schedule in the Rayalaseema region, specifically Anantapur. Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, who continues to build his reputation for grand storytelling, the film stars Vijay alongside Rashmika Mandanna, with veteran actor Arnold Vosloo in a pivotal role. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and presented by T-Series, Ranabaali is set for a worldwide release on September 11.
The film is a lavish pan-India project set between 1854 and 1878 during British rule, drawing from true historical events. Vijay portrays the fierce warrior Ranabaali, while Rashmika essays Jayamma. The production has drawn praise for its stellar technical crew, including Ajay–Atul’s music composition and Nirav Shah’s cinematography.
Local fans in Anantapur showed immense enthusiasm, organizing bike rallies and a special fan meet for Vijay, who expressed a deep connection to the region, saying he feels a “Seema feeling” whenever he shoots there. This warm reception has added to the growing buzz around the movie.
With such a strong foundation and a high budget backing it, Ranabaali promises to be one of the standout releases of the year. Fans now eagerly await the next phase of production and promotions leading up to its grand September debut.
