Yash Unveils 'Toxic' at CinemaCon 2026: Not Your Usual Gangster Flick
Sandalwood sensation Yash brought his signature charisma to CinemaCon 2026 in Las Vegas, grabbing global attention as he promoted his highly-anticipated film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grownups. Known for redefining mass roles, Yash revealed that Toxic is much more than an action-packed gangster drama it dives deep into the psychology of its characters and offers a fresh narrative layer.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, a filmmaker celebrated for her bold storytelling, Toxic brings together an ensemble cast featuring Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, and Tara Sutaria. The film is produced by Monster Mind Creations and KVN Productions, underscoring its PAN-Indian ambition. Yash shared, “For the first time, I think, we have shot that film in English as well... it’s not a typical gangster action story. But it has got deep psychology, and it’s got very interesting aspects of human life where you can resonate.”
He also praised his collaboration with Mohandas and the technical crew, highlighting the film’s striking visuals and emotional impact. As Yash puts it, “It’s going to be a visual treat as well as something which makes a huge impact on audience psychology as well.”
