Blast Makes Its OTT Debut on Netflix After Theatrical Success
Arjun’s latest action entertainer, Blast (released as Blast Zone in Telugu), has arrived on Netflix following a robust box office haul of over ₹75 crore. The star-studded film, which also features Abhirami and Preity Mukhundhan in pivotal roles, now seeks to capture an even wider audience through its multiregional OTT release.
Director Subash Raj, who marks his debut with this project, has quickly found attention for his kinetic storytelling style. Backed by AGS Entertainment, the film’s theatrical triumph made headlines, and the transition to streaming platforms comes hot on the heels of strong word-of-mouth and social media buzz surrounding its action sequences.
The cast is further strengthened by performances from John Kokken and Vivek Prasanna, while Ravi Basrur’s rousing background score gives the high-octane scenes extra impact. The film’s availability in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam on Netflix is expected to bolster its reach, much like its pan-India box office journey. According to industry chatter, the multilingual release is already drawing in fresh viewers online.
With Blast now streaming, fans can look forward to seeing how the film fares in the digital space as the makers eye a new benchmark for South Indian action films on OTT.
