Harsha Chemudu’s Least Eligible Bachelor Tops Netflix, Surpassing Kapil Sharma Show

Streaming on: Netflix

Harsha Chemudu’s latest web series, Least Eligible Bachelor, has made a striking impact by climbing to the top of Netflix’s daily Top 10 shows chart. This Telugu-language comedy, directed by Babu Degala, has managed to surpass the widely popular Hindi sketch-comedy talk show, The Great Indian Kapil Show, a move that has caught many by surprise.

Harsha Chemudu, known for his comedic timing and strong presence in digital content, leads the cast alongside Hyper Aadi, Jeevan Kumar, and Aishwarya Holakkal. The series, which is also available on ETV Win, has received decent feedback from viewers, according to reports. The ensemble cast and the director’s fresh approach have contributed to the show’s growing popularity among Telugu audiences.

The latest Netflix charts reflect this unexpected shift, with Least Eligible Bachelor overtaking established Hindi content on the platform. The show’s performance is particularly notable given the dominance of The Great Indian Kapil Show, which has consistently attracted large viewership across India. Industry watchers are keenly observing the Telugu series’ momentum, as Netflix’s global Top 10 charts are set to be updated soon, offering a clearer picture of its reach beyond regional audiences.

The success of Least Eligible Bachelor highlights the increasing appetite for Telugu originals on major OTT platforms, signaling a promising trend for regional content creators. As the global charts update, attention remains on how far this Telugu comedy can go in the competitive streaming landscape.
