Kalyani Priyadarshan’s acclaimed film Lokah: Chapter 1 Chandra is making waves again, this time with its much-awaited Telugu dubbed OTT premiere. Directed by Dominic Arun and produced by Dulquer Salmaan under Wayfarer Films, the film has already achieved historic milestones, becoming the first Malayalam superhero movie to surpass ₹300 crore globally and the highest-grossing female-led South Indian film ever.

Aha has announced that the Telugu version will debut on August 7, 2026, but only for overseas audiences. Indian viewers will have to wait, as the release is geo-restricted. The film’s rapid box office climb—crossing ₹100 crore in just seven days and ₹200 crore in under two weeks—cemented its place in Indian cinema history.

This high-profile OTT drop arrives during a packed weekend for streaming platforms.
