Lokesh Kanagaraj and Wamiqa Gabbi headline the action drama 'DC', which is set to make its Hindi dubbed debut on Sony LIV from October 16, 2026. The film, which previously found success in theatres and on Sun NXT in South Indian languages, is now expanding its reach to Hindi-speaking audiences who have been eagerly awaiting this release.
Director Arun Matheswaran, known for his distinctive storytelling, helmed 'DC', while Sun Pictures produced the film. The ensemble cast includes Sanjana Krishnamoorthy, Kasthuri Raja, and Avinash Raghudevan in key roles. Anirudh Ravichander's music has been a standout, contributing to the film’s robust box office performance, with 'DC' crossing the ₹100 crore mark worldwide.
Until now, 'DC' was accessible only in Tamil and other South Indian languages on Sun NXT, leaving many northern fans requesting a Hindi version. Sony LIV’s announcement addresses this demand, making the film available to a much broader audience. The move has generated positive buzz, especially among viewers who missed its theatrical run or prefer streaming platforms.
The timing of the Hindi OTT release is notable, as it follows a strong digital and box office showing. With its arrival on Sony LIV, 'DC' is poised to attract new viewers and continue its successful run in the digital space.
