Streaming on: ZEE5 Streaming from: October 2, 2026

Mrunal Thakur and Huma Qureshi’s Bollywood thriller ‘Pooja Meri Jaan’ is finally set to reach audiences, with its direct OTT debut confirmed for October 2, 2026, on ZEE5. This marks the end of a prolonged wait for the film, which wrapped production back in 2022 but remained unreleased for nearly four years. Both lead actors have been part of notable projects in recent years, with Mrunal Thakur especially gaining recognition for her performances across Hindi and South Indian films.

Directed by Navjot Gulati and produced under Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films banner, ‘Pooja Meri Jaan’ explores dark themes of obsession, suspicion, and the repercussions of prejudice. The story centers on Pooja, played by Mrunal Thakur, whose life spirals after the tragic loss of her lover Aniket. Huma Qureshi takes on the role of Sana, a lawyer and Pooja’s confidante, who becomes entangled in the complex aftermath of Aniket’s death. The cast also features Vikram Singh Chauhan and veteran actor Vijay Raaz in pivotal roles.

The film’s journey from completion to release has been unusually long, with fans expressing curiosity about its fate on social media. The announcement of its exclusive ZEE5 premiere has generated renewed interest, especially as it arrives during the festive season—a period when streaming platforms often see increased viewership. With its strong cast and psychological thriller narrative, ‘Pooja Meri Jaan’ is positioned as a significant Hindi OTT release for October.
