Kamakshi Bhaskarla leads the cast of Agadha, the Telugu horror thriller directed by veteran filmmaker MS Raju, which is now preparing for its digital debut on ZEE5. After a theatrical release that did not meet expectations, the film is looking for a second chance to connect with audiences through its OTT premiere on September 25, 2026.

MS Raju, known for his earlier successes in Telugu cinema, took a different route with Agadha, venturing into the horror genre. The film features a supporting cast that includes Jovika Vijaykumar, Shiju, Roshan Basheer, and Shreya Rani Reddy. Rakesh Venkatapuram composed the music and songs, aiming to heighten the film’s eerie atmosphere.

Despite an initial promotional campaign that generated curiosity, Agadha struggled to make an impact at the box office. The film’s theatrical performance did not match the buzz created by its teaser, which had previously caught attention for its chilling visuals and intriguing premise. Now, with ZEE5 bringing the title to streaming audiences, there is renewed interest in whether the film can find appreciation in the OTT space.

The digital release comes at a time when Telugu viewers are increasingly turning to streaming platforms for genre films. Agadha’s arrival on ZEE5 offers those who missed its theatrical run a chance to experience MS Raju’s take on supernatural suspense from the comfort of home.
