Naga Chaitanya is all set to reprise his role as journalist Sagar in the eagerly awaited second season of "Dhootha." The acclaimed series, which marked Chaitanya’s entry into the digital world, officially kicked off its new chapter today with a traditional pooja ceremony at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad.

Coming off the positive response to the first season, director Vikram Kumar is back at the helm for "Dhootha 2." The inaugural event saw the presence of Akkineni Nagarjuna, underscoring the family’s support for the project. Backed by Amazon Prime Video and Annapurna Studios, the series promises to build on the gripping storytelling that made its debut season a success. According to the team, filming is slated to finish by the end of this year, setting the stage for a 2025 release on the streaming platform.
