Radhika Apte and Aditi Rao Hydari headline the highly awaited anthology film Lust Stories 3, which is now available for streaming on Netflix. The franchise, which began with an Emmy-nominated first chapter in 2018, returns today with four fresh narratives exploring modern relationships and desire. The previous installment in 2023 received mixed reactions, but this new edition aims to recapture the acclaim of the original.
Lust Stories 3 brings together acclaimed directors and a powerhouse cast. Vikramaditya Motwane directs a tense drama featuring Radhika Apte, Konkona Sen Sharma, and Vijay Varma. Shakun Batra, known for his nuanced storytelling, teams up with Ali Fazal and Radhika Madan for a contemporary tale. Kiran Rao, whose recent work has been praised for its sensitivity, directs Gurfateh Pirzada and introduces newcomer Sana Thampi. Vishal Bhardwaj, celebrated for his unique cinematic voice, directs real-life couple Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth, adding a personal touch to the anthology.
The film, produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Ashi Dua Sara, runs for two and a half hours and is designed as a single, cohesive feature rather than separate episodes. Released globally at 12:30 PM IST, Lust Stories 3 arrives just in time for an afternoon binge, allowing audiences to watch before online discussions pick up later in the evening. Earlier this month, it was reported that Lust Stories would return for its third chapter, building anticipation among fans of the franchise.
With its blend of celebrated talent and engaging stories, Lust Stories 3 is positioned to reignite interest in the anthology series and spark conversations about contemporary love and relationships.
