Ram Charan, known for his blockbuster success with RRR and recent digital hit Peddi, has thrown his support behind the Hindi crime thriller Baby Do Die Do, bringing fresh attention to the film ahead of its OTT release. The movie, which stars Huma Qureshi in a challenging role as a deaf and mute contract killer on a quest for revenge, is now set to make its digital debut on Netflix. The platform has listed the film in its "Coming next week" section, with streaming expected to begin on September 25.
Directed by Nachiket Samant, Baby Do Die Do features a strong supporting cast including Saqib Saleem, Chunky Panday, and Sikandar Kher. The film initially saw a modest run in cinemas, with box office collections staying on the lower side. However, critics singled out Huma Qureshi's performance for praise, noting her compelling portrayal despite some pacing issues in the narrative.
Ram Charan's public endorsement of the film during its theatrical release helped boost its profile, especially among Telugu and pan-Indian audiences. According to the makers, his praise brought "much-needed attention" to the project, which had otherwise flown under the radar.
Earlier this year, Ram Charan's own film Peddi made waves on Netflix, quickly climbing the platform's most-watched charts. Now, with Baby Do Die Do heading to streaming, the team hopes the film will find a wider audience and renewed appreciation in the OTT space.
