Ravi Teja’s latest film, Irumudi, has surged to the top of the Netflix Global Top 10 in the Non-English Movies category, cementing its status as a cross-platform hit. After a stellar theatrical run that made it the highest-grossing film for both Ravi Teja and director Shiva Nirvana, Irumudi is now dominating the OTT space as well.
According to Netflix’s official charts for September 21-27, 2026, Irumudi climbed from the third position to No. 1 worldwide, recording 3.4 lakh views during the seven-day period. Notably, the film had already achieved the same number of views in its first three days on the platform, signaling strong and sustained viewer interest. This impressive leap saw Irumudi overtake Suriya’s Vishwanath & Sons, which previously held the top spot.
Directed by Shiva Nirvana and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Irumudi features a talented ensemble including Priya Bhavani Shankar, Baby Nakshatra, and Sai Kumar. The film’s music, composed by GV Prakash Kumar, has also contributed to its widespread appeal. The sharp rise in both global and domestic streaming charts has given the film a significant second wind following its box office triumph earlier in September.
While Irumudi’s theatrical journey was already noteworthy, its current OTT performance highlights Ravi Teja’s strong pull with audiences worldwide. The film’s rapid ascent on Netflix demonstrates the growing appetite for Telugu cinema on international streaming platforms.
