Satyadev’s Rao Bahadur Heads to Netflix With Multilingual Release

Satyadev’s psychological thriller Rao Bahadur, which recently impressed audiences in theatres, is now gearing up for its digital premiere. The film, directed and written by Venkatesh Maha, will begin streaming on Netflix from July 31, 2026. This marks another collaboration between Satyadev and Venkatesh Maha, following their previous acclaimed projects.

What sets the OTT release apart is its multilingual approach. In addition to its original Telugu version, Rao Bahadur will be available in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. This move is expected to broaden the film’s reach, making it accessible to a pan-Indian audience.

The film features Deepa Thomas as the female lead, with Vikas Muppala, Bala Parasar, Anand Bharathi, Pranay Vaka, Kunal Kaushik, and Master Kiran in pivotal roles. The production is backed by Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy, Anurag Reddy, Sharath Chandra, and Eshwran Vijayaraghavan, while Smaran Sai has composed the music.

After its theatrical release last month, Rao Bahadur received positive feedback for its storytelling and performances. The film sparked active conversations on social media, keeping it in the limelight even after its run in cinemas. With its Netflix debut approaching, many are eager to see how the psychological thriller will fare with a wider streaming audience.
