Tovino Thomas’ much-discussed period action drama, Pallichattambi, is finally set for its digital debut after a disappointing theatrical run. The film, which generated significant buzz prior to release, struggled to make an impact at the box office, leaving many fans eagerly awaiting its arrival on streaming platforms.
Directed by Dijo Jose Antony, Pallichattambi brings together a talented ensemble including Kayadu Lohar as the female lead, with notable performances from Shatru, Vijayaraghavan, Siddique, and Baburaj. The movie also features a special cameo by Prithviraj Sukumaran, adding to its star power. Produced by World Wide Films and C Qube Bros Entertainments, the film’s music is composed by Jakes Bejoy, whose score has been praised for its period authenticity.
After three months since its theatrical release, the wait is finally over for OTT audiences. Sony LIV has secured the post-theatrical streaming rights, and Pallichattambi will premiere on the platform from July 24. The film will be available in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada, making it accessible to a wide audience across India. This multi-language release is expected to give the film a fresh lease of life, especially among viewers who missed it in cinemas.
With anticipation building on social media for its digital launch, fans are keen to see how the film fares on OTT. All eyes are now on July 24, as Pallichattambi prepares for its second innings in the digital space.
